I use this every day. So does my 55 year old husband, my 78 year old dad, my 98 year old friend and my 30 year old daughter in law. It seems to keep the digestive system on track. My husband is highly lactose intollerant, and he takes it with no problem. I notice my system feeling sluggish if I forget it for more than a day. It is most often used to treat constipation, but it seems to work equally well in preventing loose stools. It is convenient and easy to take. Take it any time of the day, with or without food. It doesn’t need to be refrigerated, but I do keep each capsule in it’s foil packet until I take it. I have tried cheaper products and they just do not work as well. I have tried more expensive ones and they do not work any better. Everyone I suggest it to becomes a fan of this product.

bought this for my 5yo son who was having a lot of digestive issues. His DAN doctor recommended this brand. In less than a week we were back to having normal bm’s. NOTE- he also takes a digestive enzyme aid. I like that I can open and pour onto applesauce since he isn’t into swallowing pills yet. I have everyone in my family taking these now. 70% of our immune system is in our GI tract so let’s take care of it.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with Colitis and it was bad, bad, bad. The medication the doctor prescribed made it worse (which, at the time, I didn’t think was possible, but it did!), so I took it upon myself to find something to make it better. The very first thing I tried was Culturelle. Within 1 week of using this, I was SOOOOOOOO much better and almost back to complete normalcy. This stuff was a G-dsend! I still use a Pro-Biotic and always will. Years ago Culturelle was only available online at one web site (that I could find anyway) and my local health food store could also order it for me, but now Pro-Biotics are available everywhere….thank G-d.
I even give Pro-Biotics to my dog when her digestive system acts up. A few months ago she had bloody diarrhea for 5 days, I took her to the vet and they put her on some drug that didn’t help at all so I gave her one of my Pro-Biotics and the NEXT DAY she was back to normal. I’m telling you….if you have digestive issues, this is the way to go….give Culturelle a try! I now prefer to try Alternative medications/Treatments BEFORE I see a doctor for anything. The Alternative treatments usually work and work VERY well.

I ordered this product online. It arrived on a 70-80 degree day in the spring. The package says “Refrigeration recommended” and “Must be kept below 75 degrees”. I’m betting that it warmed up over 80 degrees in the UPS truck on the way over to my house. I’d recommend ordering this product only in the cooler weather months. I’m afraid I received a dead product and have not bothered taking it since I know it was exposed higher temperatures than stated on the packaging. I’ll buy locally next time – I have a grocer that refrigerates products like this.
